Case Study: Glass Conservatory Roof Replacement

To help combat this, we installed a brand new gutter r system on the beautiful glass roof which deflected the rainwater onto the ground. This saved them money on costly repairs while giving them a warmer home in the process.

How Did We Install the Glazing? 

The double glazing units were 1.6m x 2.8m meaning that we used a specialised crane to lift out the existing glazing, replacing it with glazing from Planitherm.. This was bolstered by safety glass and argon gas that kept cold air inside.

Installing double glazing with high thermal performance will keep natural heat in your home for many years to come. The top pane is self cleaning, which results in a low maintenance conservatory. This family had a busy lifestyle, so they didn’t have to worry about looking after their new glass roof.
